Physical Description: Bramblethorn is a tortoiseshell she-cat with yellow eyes. Her pelt is a mottled array of fiery orange and midnight black, cloaking the sturdy frame of this battle-hardened warrior. Above her right eye are two claw marks that tell of her propensity for fighting. She is larger than a typical MoorClan she-cat due to her half-WillowClan ancestry, trading part of MoorClan's swiftness for strength.

History: Bramblethorn was born as the result of a tryst between a WillowClan she-cat and the then-deputy of MoorClan. The father of the kits remained unbeknownst to the rest of WillowClan, and their mother weaned them alone. Upon reaching the age for apprenticeship, however, then-Bramblepaw left to join MoorClan. Her mother had revealed her parentage to her shortly before, and Bramblepaw had felt betrayed over this secret being kept from her. She made the decision to find her father on the moor and, if able, join him in MoorClan.

Fortunately, MoorClan accepted the half-blooded cat into the fold. Bramblepaw was apprenticed to her father, Crowtalon, in the hopes of mending their relationship and due to his being her sole tie to the Clan. However, in punishment for breaking the Warrior Code, Thistlestar demoted Crowtalon from his deputy position. During the moons of her training, Crowtalon did his best to teach the daughter he hadn't known he'd fathered. He taught her not only how to run with the swiftness of a hare, but also how to be a MoorClan cat.

Bramblethorn received her warrior name at 14 moons, a bit later than average, due to her lack of aptitude in what comes naturally to most MoorClan apprentices. Despite her disadvantages, she became a MoorClan warrior worthy of fighting alongside her Clanmates. She had fought in skirmishes before the Arrival of the Clans, but she truly proved her loyalty during the battle with the boars. She very nearly gave her life that day and watched Crowtalon take his last breaths in sacrifice to the Clan. In the aftermath, Bramblethorn barely made the journey to the new territories, but since then, no cat has ever had reason to doubt her allegiance.

Personality: Bramblethorn earned her name in part due to her intimidating appearance but also due to her gruff personality. She spares little in the way of pleasantries with most cats; she prefers to show goodwill through service and protection. The only way a cat would get to know her soft side is if they earned her unbroken trust and became very dear to her.

Further, Bramblethorn is known for her uneven temper and how easily her anger can bubble over. She is particularly fierce in defense of her Clanmates and would take on a badger single-pawed if the situation demanded it, regardless of whether she could win.

Sample Roleplay Post(s): In a split second, the mottled she-cat lunged forward, diving under her opponent's chest and then rising with enough force to bowl him over. As the tom scrambled to gain his footing, his back paws landed a blow on Bramblethorn's chest, taking the wind out of her lungs. This gave him enough time to escape into the fray of battle.
