CloudClan is often thought of as the most distant and dark of the Clans due to the barren, rocky territory they call home. Tough and resilient, cats of this Clan excel in climbing and use the rocky crags to their advantage when hunting. As their territory is the most forbidding and unwelcoming of the Clans, CloudClan is the most protected of the four Clans and few Clan cats would want to fight over the barren land. They are, however, a target for rogues and loners, which live in the territory nearby to them. Deep within their craggy territory, CloudClan has several pools fed by trickling waterfalls that provide for the clan's water source.
Small minnows thrive in these pools during greenleaf, though no CloudClan cat is able to catch them.

This unforgiving territory has its dangers, despite little threats posed to them by the other clan cats. Large birds of prey live on the mountain tops, and colonies of vicious rats have been spotted in a makeshift den at the most southern point of CloudClan's territory.  Having to rely on stealth and silence to hunt in their rocky world, the best hunters of this clan have coats of gray and brown and black; the better to blend in with the stones.

Their main prey consists of mice and small rodents that burrow into the crevices amidst the rocks, as well as the occasional brave finches that hop from stone to stone.
