A Necessary Truce
08/29/2024
The arrival of the twolegs plunged the clans into chaos. At first, it was just strange contraptions appearing in the forest, but soon, cats began to disappear without warning. The clans were on edge, and then the unthinkable happened—Adderstar of CloudClan and Blossomstar of WillowClan vanished, leaving their clans leaderless. The losses hit hard, and without their guidance, both CloudClan and WillowClan struggled to maintain order as the twoleg presence grew stronger.
Prey became scarce, the forest was torn apart, and no territory felt safe anymore. The remaining leaders, Swiftstar and Mistystar, knew they couldn’t continue like this. Reluctantly, they called a gathering and Mistystar proposed the only solution left—merging the clans into one. United, they would be stronger and better equipped to face the growing threat. It was not an easy decision; deep rivalries still simmered beneath the surface, but survival outweighed pride.
Swiftstar and Mistystar took command of this newly united clan and led the group to StormClan’s territory, the furthest from the twoleg place. Its river, once considered a challenge for most, became a key defence against the invaders. Though most of the clans had never swum or fished before, the river served as a barrier, helping to keep the twolegs at bay.
The transition was difficult, with the cats struggling to adapt to new skills and customs, especially those dealing with the absence of their missing leaders. But under Swiftstar and Mistystar’s guidance, they began to settle into their new home. Would the river’s protection and their newfound, albeit reluctant, unity be enough to survive the uncertain future ahead?
The Arrival
04/24/2023
The territory the clans live in today wasn't always their home.
The cats were run out of their old home by vicious boars, the creatures came and destroyed the lives the clans had proudly made, uprooting everything and wreaking havoc upon the unsuspecting cats. Many perished in the great boar attack, the clans' numbers were slashed in an instant - many fought bravely but it was no use, the boars were relentless. After several hours and many deaths, it was clear that their efforts to defend their home were futile and the remaining cats collectively - and reluctantly - decided to flee.
Once the survivors were able to regroup, it was clear that they had lost a shocking amount of friends and loved ones, including most of the high ranking cats. Some of the leaders and deputies of each clan lost their lives viscously trying to defend their home. This sent waves of panic through the clans.
What were they going to do? Who would lead them?
Unfortunately for StormClan, both their leader and deputy perished. The surviving cats knew they needed someone to lead them and held a vote - almost unanimously it was decided that Swiftstream, daughter of StormClan's deputy Skywatcher, would be their new leader.
MoorClan had already lost its leader to a smaller boar attack several moons before the great battle, leaving the deputy Mistyeye to ascend to leadership. Quietstep was appointed as Mistystar's deputy. Both managed to escape the battle, in no small part due to the lives granted to Mistystar by StarClan.
Adderstar ascended to leadership after CloudClan's leader was mauled by a boar during the attack.
WillowClan's leader Petalstar died in the attack as well. With the prophecy cat dead, they looked to her sister, Blossompool for leadership and thus, she became Blossomstar.

Unbeknownst to the clans, their new home was once claimed by four different clans: CliffClan lived in the mountains CloudClan chose; WillowClan took up the forest of LilyClan's former territory; StormClan laid claim to the marshy grounds of StreamClan; and MoorClan roams where FieldClan once did.
While much of the evidence of these former clans has been lost to time, there are some hints as to what once was: fragments of camp walls, dried herb stocks half buried in the weeds, little piles of tiny bones from long-ago prey piles. Strangest of all, though, are the boxy metallic contraptions scattered occasionally in the territories. A faint scent of twoleg clings to them, but they obviously have been abandoned for quite some time.
Someone was here, and something happened. But who, and what?
