Terminology

In Erin Hunter's series "Warriors", the cats from the clans have their own language. This is the terminology to be used in the dream.

General
Crowfood: rotting prey. Also an insult.

Cutter: veterinarian.

Dirt: fecal matter. Cat poop.

Foxdung: An insult. Worse then Mousebrain.

Fox-hearted: A sly and/or cruel cat or action. For example, "That was a fox-hearted thing to do!"

Foxlength: A unit of measurement; the length of a fox. About one yard.

Freshkill: food.

Gathering: a meeting of the Clans when all Clans are peaceful. During the full moon.

Greenleaf: The season of summer.

Halfbridge: a dock.

Kittenstep: a unit of measurement; the length of a kitten's paw or step. About one inch.

Kittypet: a house cat, often an insult. Assumed to be weak/lazy

Leaf-bare: winter.

Leaf-fall: autumn.

Loner: a cat that is not a kittypet nor belongs to any Clans.

Monster: a car.

Moon: A lunar cycle, 29.53 days. This translates to about 1.05 moons per month (the reason there are two full moons in one month, AKA 'blue moon,' sometimes)

Sharing tongues: grooming each other.

Silverpelt: The stretch of stars in which StarClan live (the Milky Way).

StarClan: the Clan in the stars which holds all cats once they pass on, a variation of heaven. Almost always, only the leader and the medicine cat have a strong connection to StarClan, and the medicine cat's is the strongest of all cats'.

Sun: One day. [Also, the bright thing in the sky. ;)]

Sunhigh: noon; when the sun is highest in the sky.

Tail-length: A unit of measurement; the length of a cat's tail. About one foot.

Thunderpath: a road or highway.

Twoleg: a human.

Twoleg nest: a human house.

Twolegplace: a human town.

Common Illness
Cough: A mild cough.
Whitecough: Also called kittencough, this is a mild illness, but it can get worse if not treated.
Greencough: A step above whitecough, this is a more serious illness, similar to pneumonia. A frequent problem during leaf-bare.
Blackcough: The worst of the coughs, blackcough is almost always fatal, and is very contageous. Whitecough and greencough may turn into blackcough if they are not treated.
Cracked Pads: Not really an illness. Happens whenever paw pads get dried out and crack, like dry skin. Causes soreness and bleeding.
Aching Joints: Not really an illness. Known to humans as arthritus, it is commonly seen in elders.
Torn Claw: Not really an illness, but a common occurance. If a cat's claw gets caught on something and pulled too hard, the claw may tear (equivalent to your fingernail being torn off - very painful, but not fatal). May cause limping until the wound has healed, and may get infected if not treated.
Bellyache: A stomach ache. Can be caused by anything from eating crowfood to poisoning.
