Furcadia Description: (Nightrain - Moorclan warrior) a tortoiseshell tom with green eyes, who was previously a rogue living on the street. After meeting the Moorclan medicine cat he decides he wants to join the clan and be "civilized" during his time in Moorclan he learns medicine cat code and how to properly treat the wounded. After the arrival of the two legs he becomes well respected within Moorclan, but a loneliness of his old life pulls at his soul.

Hey~ Sorry, I didn't get a chance to look yesterday.
So, the only way for a male cat to be a tortoiseshell is for it to either be a chimera (extremely rare), or to have Kleinfelter's Syndrome (also quite rare, and comes with a host of genetic defects - You can read about some real-life examples here: http://messybeast.com/mosaicism3.htm). Because of their rarity and the likelihood of genetic defects and/or health issues causing an early death in a feral cat who cannot receive veterinary care, we are extremely choosy about allowing them into the continuity. Given the strain the clans have been under, they also likely would not take in a cat that is a risk to the clans' strength. Mistystar in particular is pretty prejudiced towards non-clan cats, and given the timeline created by Nightrain's age/history, it would probably take an act of StarClan to get her to take in a young rogue while her clan is starving and facing eradication by twolegs.
I also would like to see a little more attention to detail and maybe some more experience under your belt before you take on a role as critical and potentially high-stress as medicine cat, which can be very overwhelming for a newer roleplayer. There are numerous spelling and grammatical issues with your application. I would recommend more thorough re-reading and/or the aid of a document writing program capable of performing spellcheck (such as Microsoft Word or Google Docs), just as you would when writing an essay. Our continuity also tends towards longer posts of at least a paragraph (5+ sentences) on average, and you may find yourself having difficulty bouncing off other players/receiving full responses if you aren't giving them much to work with. You can take a peek at the approved application sections for examples of post length, detail, and content that you might find among other patrons.
