Do you have any other characters in the dream? If so, who?
If your character fits within the dream's rules and standards, you will be given your character's rank and be added to the website.
If your character does not fit within the dream's rules and standards, you will be asked to alter the character in such a way that it will be acceptable. Failure to comply with a request for changes of any sort will result in denial to access of the IC area. Changes that may need to be made include, but are not limited to: Character name, coloration, accessories, etc.
Detailed Explanations of Each Section:
Login Name: The name you use to log into Furcadia - NOT YOUR FORUM LOGIN. It is most preferred and encouraged that your FURCADIA log-in name is the same as your character's name. However, if your name of choice is taken, you may place an "x" before or after the name (xThornclaw, Alderpaw x , etcetera). The FURCADIA login name needs to be as similar to the IC name as possible.
Desired Clan: The Clan you want your character to be in. Yes, the subforum should be enough indication, but sometimes people ask to have their application moved to another Clan or put the application into the wrong section by accident.
Desired Ranking: The Clan leader has the final say on what position your character will be, but you may request to play a kit, apprentice, warrior, or elder. You cannot apply to be a deputy or leader, nor can you apply to become a medicine cat at this time.
Desired Character Age: A kit cannot be 12 moons, and a 3 moon old warrior would be absurd. This is so we can double check that people aren't making characters who are 20 years old when they should be 3!
Preferred Warrior Name: Make sure the name fits the requirements listed on the website, or you will be asked to change it prior to approval.
Gender: Male or female.
Reference Photo: This is required. It MUST be a photograph or a drawing, a non-pedigree cat, full body (no face shots!), and unedited (black and white counts as edited). There are numerous photo sites on the internet you can use to find pictures of feral domestic cats.
Physical Description: Describe what your character looks like. Their coat coloring and pattern, build, and any physical characteristics you deem important. This should be at least 3-5 sentences.
Furcadia Description: Post the description your character has on Furcadia. Minimal requirements are: The summarized description, the character's Clan, and the character's rank within said Clan.
Summarized Description: Describe your character's appearance just like the first few pages of the Warriors' books do it. This is how your character will be listed on the Clan pages on our website.
Examples:
Rippedtail - Brown tabby she-cat with part of his tail missing
Sootpelt - Tortoiseshell she-cat with pale green eyes
Stoneface - Gray she-cat
History: If there is nothing remarkable about your character's history, you can simply put something like "Born into ___Clan to his/her mother, ____." However, if you ever want something out of the ordinary about your character's history, including but not limited to crazy relatives, exiled relatives, relations to leaders, things majorly against the warrior code, visions from StarClan, and past murderers/major crimes (yes, these are all things people have suddenly decided to do without approval after being accepted), it NEEDS TO BE APPROVED HERE.
Personality: Describe your character's personality. What makes them tick, how they behave among their Clanmates and in battle, etc.
Any Clan-born cat is assumed to have always been present in the Clan, so they know all the cats there at the time - although they may know some better than others. When first starting out, assume your character knows everyone's name - and then learns about their characters more as you roleplay, etc. Or you can ask other players what your character, as a Clan-born elder, would already know about their character/s. For instance, say... (I'm going to make up names) Purpletail obviously had a mentor, and she's not a very old warrior. So Brownspot would probably know that Purpletail's mentor was Tractorpelt, even though you, the player, would have to ask to gain this knowledge first.
Website (if applicable): If you have a website for your character you may include it. If you don't, don't worry about it.
Sample Roleplay Post(s): Give an example(s) of how you roleplay. There is no length minimum or maximum, or subject requirement - post what you're comfortable with. You may copy/paste from a logfile. Any genre is fine. Be prepared for mild critiquing.)
Do you have any other characters in the dream? If so, who? Please be aware that we only allow FIVE characters per ONE player, otherwise we'd be a dream of alts. Even with this rule, it only takes three players to get fifteen characters in the dream. There could be 30 names in the dream, but only six people - doesn't that seem a bit skewed? Now imagine if we allowed 10 alts per one person....

Furcadia Description:
Compactly built and muscular, the gray tom is quick for his size despite being more thickset than lean. His coat is a thick and unbroken gray and soft to the touch. Though not the biggest or the fastest, he is still a capable warrior nonetheless. [___Clan Warrior]
Summarized Description: Gray tom with amber eyes
History: Sootclaw was born to two ___Clan warriors and went through regular apprentice training until he earned his warrior name.
Personality:
Good-natured and easy-going, the young tom nonetheless takes his duties to the clan seriously, although still finds the time to joke around with his Clanmates. He has a tendency to be a bit of a jester when among his fellow warriors, and often winds up getting told off by the more senior warriors for occasional lapses in attentiveness. Nonetheless, whether in the heat of battle or during a hunting mission, Sootclaw will nearly always rise to the challenge and get the job done.

Sample Roleplay Post(s):
--------------
Cedarclaw shook his broad tabby head. Without the leader and deputy there, he had no more authority than Sparrowkit to begin assigning duties for the other warriors. "You'll have to wait for Patchedstar or Rockclaw to return from patrol," he meowed to the gray she-cat as he returned to his post at the mouth of camp.
-----------------------------------
Cedarclaw leapt over the barrier of bracken that encircled the camp and landed with a thud on all four paws. At the sound of Talonpaw's yowl, his warrior blood rose, and he snarled fiercely at the intruder that threw mocking jeers at his apprentice. "Intruder!", he growled, hackles raised and tail bristling. "What is your business in Fieldclan territory, trading insults with an apprentice no less?" Cedarclaw stood his ground and waited for the strange tom to answer.
----------------------------
Cedarclaw had sidestepped so to avoid Talonpaw's initial surge at the rogue. Infuriated at the strange cat's arrogance, the metallic scent of blood taking over his senses, the tom threw his head to the sky to yowl a vicious battle cry. With his powerful muscles rippling, the tom leapt in the air to bring a punishing blow on the rogue tom's back. Unfortunately for Cedarclaw, the rogue pushed Talonpaw off of him just as he had timed his leap. Colliding with his own apprentice in mid-air the tom fell, winded, on the ground in a rumpled heap.
